DevOps Engineer
Location: ROI (Hybrid: 2 days onsite, 3 remote)
Contract: Initial 6-month day rate (with potential extension)

Role Overview
My client is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support the delivery, automation, and optimisation of cloud-based platforms. You will work across engineering, operations, and security teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve reliability, and ensure scalable, resilient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines

• Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and automate provisioning

• Implement monitoring, alerting, and performance optimisation

• Support containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Drive infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)

• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development and release processes

• Troubleshoot production issues and improve system reliability

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in enterprise environments

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, etc.)

• Strong cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration

• Solid skills in Terraform or similar IaC tools

• Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, or equivalent)

• Knowledge of security best practices and monitoring tools

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
